  Document - 2 Two grants from Anna M. Pitman and Marcia E. Gale dated April 12, 1930 to the Goodrich Falls Electric Company to erect poles for electric service across their properties. It was specified that the wires shall in no way obstruct the flight of golf balls on the Eagle Mountain House golf course.  
       
  Article - 3 Article on talk given by Helen Nute at Jackson Historical Society meeting on April 4, 1979. Helen told of her childhood memories, including her grandfather's sawmill at Goodrich Falls established about 1853. The first hydro-electric plant was built in 1893 by Ed Thompson, then by George Morton.
