Once owner of Wildcat Tavern in Jackson; founder of Jackson Ski Touring Foundation; veteran of World War II with the 10th Mountain Division serving in Alaska and northern Italy. Present (2002) owner of "Maple Knoll" residence in Jackson built by artist Frank Shapleigh.
