Biography of Rodney Chandler Charles born December 8, 1919 in Jackson, NH. Father from Stowe, Maine (born February 29, 1876) came to Jackson in 1900 and started blacksmith shop at location of the Bistro. Mother, Ruth Stilphen born December 12, 1880 at old Stilphen Farm in Glen, NH at location of present Storybook Inn.
